Why people drive past three other gyms to train here

Veteran-owned

It shows in how we run the place

Owner Jeff Prescott built EDHFIT on the things the military gets right (standards, accountability, nobody left behind) and left behind the stuff it gets wrong. No yelling, no tactical cosplay. A gym that does what it says it will.

13 years in

Same gym, same town, same standard

Studios open and close in El Dorado Hills every couple of years. We've coached this community since 2013, thousands of people through our doors. That track record is the proof that what we do works, and that people stay.

Real coaches

Coaches who know your name

Owner Jeff Prescott Jr. (CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and Olympic Weightlifting coach) leads the staff. You're not a card swipe here. Every member starts with a coach who learns your goals, your history, and what you're working around. Meet the team.

Don't take our word for it. Take theirs.

“This CrossFit gym is next level. The coaches are insanely supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping every athlete succeed, no matter your experience level. The programming is rock solid, especially the strength training. You're pushed to work hard, but always with great coaching, clear cues, and a strong focus on proper form.”

Questions

The stuff people ask before their first class

What if I've never done CrossFit?

Then you're normal. Most members started exactly there. Every workout scales to your level on day one, and first-timers get extra coaching attention so you're never thrown in the deep end.

How much does it cost?

Unlimited is $185 every 4 weeks, and a 12x plan (12 sessions) is $165 every 4 weeks. Drop-ins are $30, and personal training is quoted to your goals. Your first class is free, full details are on our pricing page.

How does the free first class work?

Your first class is free. You book into any regular class that fits your schedule and just drop in, there's no separate appointment. It's a real class, scaled to your level, and our coaches give first-timers extra attention so you're never lost. No pressure, no commitment.

What sets you apart from FIIT Nation and Orangetheory?

Three things, specifically. We're veteran-owned and 13 years in this town, not a franchise that opened last year. We're the highest-rated gym in El Dorado Hills at 5.0 stars across 72 reviews. And we coach you, named coaches who know your name and program your scaling, instead of pressing play on a screen for a room of 30. Orangetheory is a treadmill class. We build actual strength and skill, and we have the community to keep you coming back.

Am I too old for this?

No. We coach members across a wide range of ages and we scale every movement. The goal isn't to make you 22 again, it's to make you stronger, more mobile, and more capable than you are right now.

Can I drop in?

Yes, visiting athletes are welcome, and drop-ins are $30. Bring your CrossFit experience and jump into a class. See our drop-in page for details.

Do you have parking, showers, and 24-hour access?

Free parking right out front in the Business Park. We don't have showers or childcare. Every member gets 24/7 access with a keypad code, so you can train on your schedule, not just during class times.

What if I get injured?

Every movement scales, and our coaches modify around old injuries and limitations every single day. Tell us what you’re working around at your first class and we build your training around it.
