Drop-in CrossFit in El Dorado Hills

Drop in for a class in El Dorado Hills

In town for work, family, or just passing through on White Rock Road? You don't have to skip training. Reserve a spot, walk in, and get a real coached CrossFit workout scaled to you, same as our members get.

Visiting athletes are welcome here

We've been coaching this community for 13 years, and we've hosted plenty of travelers passing through El Dorado Hills along the way, people in town for a conference in Folsom, families up for the weekend, athletes between gyms who refuse to lose their streak. You don't need to know anyone, you don't need to be a competitor, and you don't need to apologize for being rusty. You show up, a coach learns your name and your level, and you train.

A drop-in here is a full coached class, not a key-fob and an empty floor. You get the same programming, the same scaling, and the same community our members get on any given day. As the highest-rated gym in town (5.0 stars across 68 Google reviews), we treat a one-day visitor like we'd want to be treated dropping in somewhere new: get them in the door fast, coach them well, send them off having trained hard.

What to expect

Your drop-in class, start to finish

No mystery. Here's exactly how a class runs so you know what you're walking into.

A coach, every class

There's a named coach leading the room from warm-up to cool-down. Tell them your experience level and anything you're working around, old shoulder, tight schedule, whatever it is, and they'll set you up to train hard and safe.

Scaled to you

The workout adjusts to the athlete, not the other way around. Loads, reps, and movements get scaled so a seasoned competitor and a first-month athlete can do the same class side by side and both leave smoked.

A real community

People will introduce themselves, count your reps, and cheer you through the last round. It's a tight, friendly room, the part of CrossFit you actually miss when you travel.

How to drop in

It takes about two minutes to set up. Do this and you're in:

  • Check the schedule and reserve a spot. Pick the class time that fits your day on our El Dorado Hills class schedule and grab a reservation, spots are capped so the coach can actually coach.
  • Or just reach out. If you'd rather confirm with a human, contact us or call (916) 420-3219 and we'll get you booked and answer any questions.
  • Bring the basics. Training shoes, a water bottle, and clothes you can sweat in. We supply all the barbells, plates, rowers, and rigs.
  • Show up a few minutes early. Roll in 5–10 minutes ahead of class so the coach can show you around, square away the drop-in fee, and get your scaling dialed before the clock starts.

The drop-in fee

One flat drop-in fee covers the whole coached class, programming, coaching, scaling, and use of all our equipment. No membership, no contract, no catch.

Drop-in fee: $30 per class. If you'd like to confirm a class time before you arrive, message us through the contact page or call ahead and we'll lock in your spot.

Finding us

We're in the El Dorado Hills Business Park at 4970 Robert J Mathews Pkwy, STE 120, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762, about three minutes off White Rock Road and directly across from Blackstone. There's free parking right out front, so you won't be circling the block before class. If you get turned around, call (916) 420-3219 and we'll talk you in.

Local? This page isn't for you, but the next one is

Drop-in questions

What visiting athletes ask before dropping in

Do I need to book ahead to drop in?

Yes, please reserve a spot. Class sizes are capped so coaches can actually coach, and a few sessions fill up. Check the schedule, grab a spot in the class you want, and you're set. If you can't get the time to lock in, call us at (916) 420-3219 and we'll square it away.

What's the drop-in fee?

It's $30 per class. Pay it once and you get the full coached class, programming, scaling, and equipment included. If you message us ahead of time we can reserve your spot in one go.

What should I bring?

Training shoes, a water bottle, and clothes you can move and sweat in. We have all the barbells, plates, rigs, rowers, and conditioning equipment you need on site. A towel and a change of clothes are nice to have but not required.

I'm visiting and newer to CrossFit, can I still come?

Absolutely. Every workout scales to the athlete in front of it, so newer drop-ins get the same coaching our members get. Tell the coach your experience level when you arrive and they'll adjust loads and movements so the class works for you.

Can a friend who has never done CrossFit join me?

Yes. A first-timer is welcome in the same class, the coach will scale it to them. If your friend lives locally and wants to keep going after you leave town, point them at our free first class instead, which is the better on-ramp for someone starting from scratch.

Reserve your drop-in and we'll have a spot on the board for you

Pick a class time, show up, and train. Visiting athletes always welcome, first-timers and seasoned competitors alike.
